An urban renewal project along the light rail corridor, located near Tzomet Pat in Jerusalem. The project proposes a new urban connection between Hanan’el Street and the planned bridge over Herzog Street, leading toward the Gazelle Valley.
The design creates a continuous urban fabric linking the surrounding neighborhoods with the nearby urban nature of the Gazelle Valley, while improving accessibility for residents of the Gonenim neighborhood. The proposal includes active commercial frontages at ground level and public spaces integrated with the adjacent civic building planned within the nearby Azorim development.
The building is designed with a flexible and open envelope, allowing for multiple openings and viewing directions, with a primary emphasis on exposure toward the Gazelle Valley, alongside urban connections to Gonenim and Herzog Street. This creates a structure that responds simultaneously to three distinct urban contexts.
As in previous projects, the design maintains a balance between broad urban thinking and precise residential planning, resulting in high-quality apartments with views, increased housing supply, and a strong integration between urban renewal and an active, connected public realm.
